Rubber
Ball Relay Patrols line up in relay formation. The first Scout in each patrol has a rubber ball in his hand. About 25 feet in front of each patrol is a pop bottle on a chair. On signal, the first two Scouts in each patrol place the ball between their foreheads, carry it in this manner without using hands, and deposit it on top of the bottle. Once the ball is on the bottle, one Scout picks the ball up with his hand and runs back to starting line, giving it to the next two Scouts in line, who repeat the process. If the ball is dropped, the pair must pick it up and return to the starting line to start over. The first patrol finished is the winner. |
