Roundtable Meeting

Hello the Moore County Boy Scouts of Occoneechee Council, Boy Scouts of America. Moore district covers all of Moore County, North Carolina.

This web site is dedicated to the purpose of delivering district specific information to the Scouts and Scouters. We have been serving scouts online for 8 years and counting.

Updates

The site has been getting bigger and I had to change to make it easier and faster to load on peoples computers. All the links have been added to the top of the site "home", "Boy Scouts", "Cub scouts" etc..

Dates, calendar, events on the site. The Order of Arrow, recognized as the Boy Scouts of America national brotherhood of honor campers, became an official part of the national camping program of the Boy Scouts of America.

  • new 2009 Life to Eagle Guide Now Available The Occoneechee Council Advancement Committee has prepared this Life to Eagle Guide to give guidance, consistency and confidence to our scouts and our volunteers.

  • New uniform coming in August 2008
    Many of you have wondered about the new uniform that will be available in August. Here is a flyer about the changes. Please remember that as long as a uniform is still serviceable you do not have to replace it. You can continue to wear your current uniform.

  • 23rd World Scout Jamboree 2015 Japan The Jamboree will be located on Kirarahama or Kirara Beach in Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Japanese word "kirara" means mica: Kirara Beach offers a beautiful landscape in front of which the Seto Inland Sea glitters in the sunlight just like mica.
